Held right here in the South west, just south of yeovil (about 1h30 drive away - quicker in a rental!) is the second tour event of the year one possibly the world's most beautiful course* (discgolfcoursereview.com)
First timers to whitcombe are being offered entry for an incredible £2.50 which includes lunches!
The course is very challenging, but with stunning scenery on an organic dorset sheep farm. New players are made most welcome and you might get a pretty high score but throwing 200m off the top of a 1:3 hill on the legendary "hypotenuse" hole makes it all worth while. After play relax in the summer house or the lovely dorset pubs in the nearby town of beaminster resting up to do it all again the next day!
Accommodation is available on site or playing for just one day is possible (although we'd love you to play the whole tournament!)
